jaws 12 is the first version that officially supports windows 7.
however, Jaws 11 latest version works ok.

If what is working for you then you can keep what you have no problem. But
if you would buy a new computer then it probably have MS 8.1 on it and then
you would need the latest jaws because it is written for the new operating

To launch JAWS 10 when you turn on your computer, access the Basics dialog
in the JAWS 10 Options menu, tab to "Automatically Start JAWS" check box
and check it. Then uncheck the corresponding check box in JAWS 9.
