I am running jaws 13 on windows7 64-bit, and I need a good accessible irc
client for some work I am doing.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I hear Mozilla's "Chatzilla" works well or Miranda should also work.
Both of these are for chatting primarily and I do not know how they
would do if your priority is downloading files or playing songs over irc.
I personally use an older version of mIRC with jaws scripts for it.
