I have not seen this problem in a long time, and never in Excel 2013, but I
used to get it in 2010 several years ago. I never found a global fix for
repairing an entire worksheet. One thing that did work for me in very
limited areas, was to navigate to the cell in question, then cut the text
from the cell, then press F2 to open the editing feature, and finally paste
the text back into the cell. As I said, this will not fix an entire
workbook, but it did make it possible for me to perform some editing
functions for the given cell.
I feel that a glich during the installation of the software,caused by some
existing corrupted Windows files may have caused the problem. One thing that
you might try, is running a repair on your Office installation from Programs
and Features in Control Panel.

solutions. I can't replicate what you suggest below. Can you

Hello All,
I have excel 2013 and jaws 16 and am trying to edit
information in cells in an excel file. I have maximized the
window and hit the f2 key to read and edit data and jaws
does not read anything in the cell once I've clicked f2.
How can I get jaws to read what's in the cell? All jaws
says to me is blank no matter what I do. I move with the
arrow keys I try the read all commands and nothing works.
