Hi Troy,

If you're running XP, & try to install J16 or later 32 bit on an XP system
this is the message you'll get:

C:\Downloads\J16.0.4468enu-x86.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
Okay button

When Jaws reported, C:\Downloads\J16.0.4468enu-x86.exe, this only meant that
I was running the installer from the downloads folder on my XP computer.

Take care.
Mike

So if the computer is running windows xp like I think it is and they've
installed Jaws 16 on it what problems might there be? I remember when I
went from windows xp to windows 7 I had to update my jaws by about 3
versions because I hadn't been keeping my SMA's up not knowing that I'd
eventually want to go to windows 7, and I remember having some problems
using I think it was jaws 11 in windows 7 but I don't remember what those
problems were now. I'm just wondering that since this is a fifth grade
student who is just learning how to use jaws if jaws 16 might work for her
even if her computer is running xp since all she'll likely be doing is
simple reading.

Troy
