So whether you press ctrl+y=go to folder,

Actually, windows 8 isn't really that difficult to use.
For many of the settings, you can setup the windows 8 machine, just like
windows 7.
The big difference is, there's no start menu.

That appears to have fixed the issue with JAWS reading incorrectly, but not
the issue with sluggishness. As JAWS reading incorrectly was the more
pressing problem, I am glad we at least have that one fixed.
