Hmm, in general that appears to be a problem I don't know the answer to.
Also in general hsql isn't going to affect this, it isn't xa. In your
case, looking at the stack trace shows that mssql is having the problems.

For me the tests take about 2 hours :-((( featuring several
timeouts
To run just one test:
./build.sh one-test -Dtest=org.jboss.test.jca.test.XAResourceUnitTest
To run a directory of tests:
./build.sh test -Dtest=jca
To run any set of tests skipping compiling, jarring, etc:
.
Scott,
I guess this is your answer.
Does exactly the same WAR deploy OK with Catalina - or experience the
same difficulty?

Ok. The XAResourceUnitTestCase threw 3 errors. See attached report.
There are sections for 3 adapters in the class. I have hsqldb-ds.xml
(Firebird?) and mssql-xa-ds.xml installed. Apart from removing one of them,
how do you tell which one has failed?
Thanks

A couple of other possibilities are to change the code to use reflection so
the Oracle driver doesn't need to be present to compile, or to write a fake
Oracle class that just defines the needed methods and that we can compile,
but not include the fake class in the build.

Hi,
I am sorry I have not had the time to do anything on the jca1.5
integration. I have not even had time to read the new spec. From what
you say I would however draw the following conclusions:
1. The jca 1.5 have defined a new contract superceding chapter 8 in the
