Hi,
I had posted this query on the jboss forum but did not get a response so I
thought I'll try here.
Am not sure if my question is clear.
I wanted to know if jboss serializes all calls to an ejb container. Consider
an EJB x with methods a() and b() and two clients c1 and c2.
x could be a deployed
added ejb cache policy and ha stateful session EJB as
a specific example.

I do this sort of thing for AOP Clustered Remoting. Because JBoss
Remoting is all URL based, all you have to manage is a set of strings
(url endpoints). AOP Clustered Remoting is totally protocol
independent. I wanted to rewrite clustering for EJBs in the same way
once we integrated JBOss Re

HAJNDI could use it rather than the current mechanism of subclassing the non-clustered
naming service
with replication via direct use of the cluster rpc mechanism. Its something to
consider.

The ejb container will potentially use TreeCache as its cache policy implementation.
This should be the
default cache policy in the near future.

The current HA proxy logic is embedded in the protocol specific proxy. That logic is
what we need:
- A list of targets encapsulated in a protocol indepdent view (currently
org.jboss.invocation.Invoker)
- A policy for selecting the next target
- A mechanism for propagating info between the client
Can we enumerate the services that are expected to
leverage TreeCache in 4.0?

keep the old implementation though)
So far I know of:
- Hibernate
- JMS
- HA HttpSession
- HA JNDI
- HA Scheduler
What else?
I assume EJB CMP 2 and JDO will
Well.. The same as the clustered invoker but transport independent ;)

Can you enumerate the key features of a clustered
interceptor?

I have just had the ultimate last laugh putting my Ex Partner onto this
website!

Cheers,
Pat.
Some of them are already there, some not, but in 4.0 they should all be
there with easy configuration syntax:
- asych vs synch
- immediate vs time-based
- granularity: session, attribute, AOP-liked (field-based)
- transparent (or pre-defined) sub-cluster (brother-nodes) replication
(when you h

Here you go. The technicals are perfect. I hear NMMG is going to unveil its new
technology in February.
