Very nice, Dimitris.
I am not sure what a suitable task would be for the CPU monitoring. It is probably not
as important what the actual task is, but rather how do we measure the CPU usage. An
example method could be to remember the highest performance within a 10 (configurable)
second interval

Well "transaction" doesn't always mean the same thing. The POP transaction is really
just a matter of state. I haven't looked real close at Eric's entity folder code

Man I can't believe I've spent two days on this and only now found this. JUnit can be
great for obfuscating errors. For some reason on the Linux box an exception is thrown
in constructing CmdServerInfo in the construct handlers method of TwiddleHandlers. I

Where can I specify the parameter name so the user of the JMX console can see it?

The connections are in most recently used order, i.e. it tries to use the minimal
number of connections so it can timeout older unused connections.
Therefore if you start from the back of the list you are looking at least recently
used.
If the first least recently used connection has not timed out

Of course! Hibernate, JBossCache, and JBoss AOP will all be able to run standalone

It does not make sense both technology adoption and business wise for us to limit
these projects to the JBoss Server.

I did put JSP in DB in the script module. It was very tricky to achieve, mainly
because the JSPC programmatic interface is very poor. The files were put in temp and
were compiled.
It could be possible to compile JSP in memory though (look at http://www.janino.net.

Well I've been interested in controlling the number of threads that jboss spawns once
it is bootstrapped. Specifically I would like to limit the number of threads that come
