However!! Correcting that did NOT change this problem. I ran xdoclet again, packaging
again, and deployed again. Stopped and started the server [again] with exactly the
same error.

Hi,
It seems to me that you have forget to specify that the EJB is only "remote" and not
"local". Can you check that the attribute "view-type" of the @ejb.bean class tag is
set to "remote" ?

JMSRA:
Use the application's connection request info rather than the values on the underlying
XASession.
Report IllegalStateExceptions when wrapping XASession to avoid implementation specific
exceptions leaking to the application.
Remove the NonStrict version of the JMS ManagedConnectionFactory
Make the XASession work like AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE when it is not enlisted in a transaction.

did you enable the "mbeaninterface" option?
this is an except from an ant build file that generates the mbean interface and
jboss-service.xml file. you should be able to compare it w/ what is being generated by
the plugin to find out if you're missing anything.

I have an CMP-bean and a Sateless Session-bean. The CMP-bean includes a
findAll()-method ana a findByName()-method in addition to the
findByPrimaryKey()-method.
The CMP-bean has a method getName().
No matter what finder-method I use, a call to the getName-method triggers a
ejbStore-method.

you need to have an "@ejb.finder" method declared of the same name. the @jboss.query
method overrides the "@ejb.finder" method.

This is a known issue. There are some incompatibilities between JBoss's JMX stuff and
the stuff in jsdk 1.5. This is being worked on IIRC.
