Thanks, I found my answer. It turns out the only requirement is to place the
Transparent RMI jar, trmi.jar, in the jboss_home/server/your_server/lib directory.
Once done the session EJB can access the designated object from the RMI server in one
single call and then all the objects methods are

Hello,
we've made a JCA connector and we're trying to deploy it on JBoss 3.2.3.
The problem is that our JCA connector uses beanshell scripts internally, and when we
deploy our JCA connector we get a lot of beanshell deployment errors because jboss try
to deploy our connector's beanshell scripts

I am trying to move and reconfigure a program that was on a stand alone dedicated
windows server (1 domain) to a VPS machine that has multiple domains.
The VPS is Linux and has a newer versions of jboss and tomcat.
The windows server had jboss 2.2.4 / tomcat 4.0.3 and the linux has jboss3.2.3 and
I have now added some more detailed security information here:

Now that we have this, I will add some specifics for the FAQ module here

But I don't thinks thats it, because I kept sending it LONG after it was to all
receipients. Basically it sent the message until I shut down. I'll try the M1 branch
with your fixes this weekend and see if I can figure it out.

I am still trying to work out what you are trying to achieve.
Although possible it is not advisable to interact with EJBs directly from JSP pages,
my opinion is that there should be almost no code in a JSP page.
EJBs and JSPs are not closely related and will be deployed seperately. When writing
Hi,
I want to create a theme with a JSP page.
There is an example :

Is it possible?
I use a bean which contains the attribut of style of my theme. Where I have to put my

you could use an HTML block, first you create the content in the HTML module then you
add an HTML block that use that page.

Thanks for your sharing.
I've tryied your example, but I found jboss couldn't create a table for a CMP bean
with a compound primary key. I checked the cmp.log and found the sql command jboss
generated was not correct. Here is the command.

Something went wrong in a servlet at initialization. Strange. This worked at another

looks like you're mostly correct:
except i believe the last tag you refer to is actually 'JBOSS_MAILSERVICES_M1_RC1',
and it seems to be on the cvs HEAD at the root of the branch. so in a sense it defines
what M1RC1 is, since M1RC1 originated from the cvs HEAD. you can do a 'cvs log' on any

Seems to be some problem with my WAR-file that causes the EAR to not deploy fully.
However, the application seems to work anyway, despite EARDeployer isn't saying it
finished deploying or started the application.

You must set pk-constraint to true for mysql to fix the problem with creating the

I have done it manually in the jbosscmp-jdbc.xml and it works fine.

Hi all! This is my first post in this forum.
I have a strang problem. Hot deployment doesn't work for my EAR-file after a complete
rebuild and replacement of it. What is the scanner really looking at to detect
redeployment for a EAR-file (not exploded)?
