just as a heads up, i've checked in some new build changes so the next time you do an
update against the HEAD, you local.properties file will be overwritten w/ the one from
"build/etc".
new changes include:
- bean shell scripts are now auto-generated against the setup.xml file in each of the

Hello, I got the same error (javax.servlet.ServletException: Lookup of java:/comp/env/
failed)
There are two possible corrections:
1) In ComputeServlet.java, add the link attribute:
@web.ejb-ref link = "Fibo"
In this case the complete @jboss.ejb.ref-jndi can be removed. The value of the link
Take a look at it.

I notice when I am using DR4 that whenever I shutdown I get this exception:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The MBean jboss:service=invoker,type=jrmp exists
but does not implement the NotificationBroadcaster interface.
Looking at the code in HEAD it seems that this is in fact still the case.
dmsy, you should use the latest stable Eclipse 3.0 release and JBoss-IDE 1.2.430,
installed as per the documentation (updates site). Then make sure than your default
Eclipse JRE is a proper JDK. Then configure your server via Server Navigator -->
Configure and make sure the JDK path looks right.
On Windows never install jboss in a path that contains spaces. This is documented even
in the free documents I think.

Apparently the JBoss_3_2_3 tag had been incorrectly moved on some files. I have
restored the JBoss_3_2_3 tag to that of the versions in the cvs working dir used to
build the release and a checkout of the JBoss_3_2_3 tag now builds correctly and
matches the source dist.

Hi Laurent,
I tried the jndi browser and I saw something that I thought might be interesting.
I found the EJB Fibo, but I did not find any WEB stuff. Does that mean anything to
you?

I realise this dosnt help but I am getting a similar problem to you but I am using
Eclipse 2.1.4 all other software is similar apart from not being able to see what
operating system you are running. I am running Windows XP professional. I followed the
install guide to install the JBoss plug in.
I am getting an error when trying to start JBoss from the IDE the error is
could not find the main class the program will exit in a dialog box with java virtual
machine launcher as the heading
I then get a message in the eclipse console java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
Files\jboss-3/2/4
