I'm looking at http://www.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=CMSPortlet and I guess
there is a little squew in the details. What I'm trying to do is move the root

no block menu yet.
for that we need to put accessible through an API the list of objects in the
portal (pages and windows) and eventually the list of actions for a given
window.
this goes beyond jsr-168 spec

Is there a menu block?
Does Nukes-2.x have this concept built in as Nukes-1.x. Or, do we implement
this as a separate block, and if so, how can we set visibility of modules per
access level.
PS: Let me know if I'm getting ahead of myself... (i.e. this is being worked on

New question.

thanks thomas,
I finally managed to compile nukes. The problem was that the
jboss-hibernate.jar library was expected to be inside the
$JBOSS_HOME/server/all/lib directory, but JBossAS 4.0.1 now includes the
library inside $JBOSS_HOME/server/all/deploy/jboss-hibernate.deployer.
Now it compiles,

In my experience the space problem has been specific to javac. The File API
breaks when there are spaces. Reading resources via URL is a workaround. The
Eclipse JDT compiler does not have an issue with spaces. I may be wrong.

Actually the doc is not accurate here, it only works on Jboss 4.0.0 (not 3.2).

The current (not yet commited) mailbox implementation provides a list of

Roles are strings. I mean roles as can be assigned by JBoss login modules.
The reason that I would use said login modules to assing the roles is that the
login modules pre-exist. Furthermore for mail-based/mail-driven applications
they fit in nicely with the rest of JBoss.
