Hi,
one one side, I really see this as a cool feature during development.
On the other side, this is very dangerous.
You e.g. have two columns street and housenumber. Now you delete
housenumber as you wish to have both fields in one column.
The data in housenumber is deleted, but the data in str
Hi,

Hi,
I have the impression that the attributes

Does it make sense to address this now (*) or is the

You mean XMBean persistence?
In the sort of writing attributes at undeploy to storage
and retreiving it at redeploy?

I might be missing something. JMX is using
jmx/src/main/org/jboss/mx/metadata/XMBeanEntityResolver.java
to map from public id to a input stream, while other components
do it somewhere else. This should not be the

One requirement is that everything that (meta-)handles metadata
should be in one place. I think it is a pita, when each module has

Hi,
I am trying to add better descriptions to the Mbeans in JBoss, so users
know what the
attributes are when they invoke operations in JMX console.
In order to do to, I want to externalize the XMBean descriptors into a
directory under
server/$version/conf/.
I already put a directory with con

Hi,
a fresh checkout Jboss-3.2 with Branch_3_2 always terminates
with a error code 1 and e.g thirdparty/ is missing.
Can anybody give me a hint?
Thanks

On Unix you can use ssh-agent. There you only type in your
passphrase once and the ssh that is used for cvs communication
fetches it from there.

Hi,
in 3.2 testsuite/build.xml with in the
elements to xdoclet sometimes 3.0 and sometimes 3.2 is used.
Shouldn't that always be 3.2 for 3.2 type of servers?
