I thought I had run across a JGroups effort when researching reliable multicast for Java.
However it was JGroup (no s) but you might want to make sure this isn't a problem ;)

I will perform this change before Oct 1st. I will send out an email to jg-dev when I start. At that point, nobody should write to the CVS.
This should actually be really smooth because I can use IntelliJ IDEA's great refactoring package.
