Hi,
It looks like the org.apache.xerces was removed from the 3.0 stream. Can you check
that this plugin appears in the 3.0M8 and not in the 3.0M9 ? Can you file a bug report
on SourceForget for that ?

I installed it 1.2.330 manually in to eclipse 3m9, the jboss launcher seems to work.

I installed 1.2.330 manually to, and xdoclet ejbjar/jboss.xml seems to work too. Just
quick test, will go deeper later.

XDoclet Code Generation still works with manual install of the plugin, but code
completition doesn't work. i tried a cvs-checked out project, where eclipse m8 and
jbosside 1.2.330 plugin work, and a freshly generated eclipse m9 project, but code
completition doesn't work.

My main requiremnet, xdoclet builds, is working for me after a manual install. It
seems that the eclipse people decided to make some breaking api changes, especially
regarding the ant tools and xml parsers. No bug reports yet at eclipse... guess
we'll have to wait and see whats goin on. for
A guy told me that they are swiching from Xerces to JAXP. This is supposed to have
been known to the plugin developers(all Eclipse plugin, not just JBoss-IDE). Here's

Is anyone working on getting JBoss-IDE to work with M9? M9 is really RC0 for Eclipse
3.0, with RC1 coming out today (5/28), apparently. The timetable for a gold version is
June 28. Thus, getting JBoss-IDE converted over is critical.
I can tell my Eclipse guy to help out this effort, if needed.

Everything is under control, so don't panic ;-)
Anyway, I am testing the last modifications before commiting them. I will wait the RC1
and see if it is ok. So I think the next release will be within a week.

Hi,
The changes are very minor. I have catched older bugs and begun to migrate the plugin
API to remove all the deprecated usage. The RC1 will not be declared until Monday, so
be patient.
Help is always welcome in any form. So keep on using and reporting.
