Limit debugging to only classes that the devloppment team programs:
Quite often when debugging, i am receiving a source class not found error while
debugging (while the code enters JBOSS specific classes), i was wondering if it was
possible to create an option that would step into/over BUT to
unless i misunderstand, the debuging feature you want is already part of eclipse. you
can enable step filters that will skip classes in packages that you define.
do a search in the eclipse help for step filter for more information.
eclipse 3.0 (and 2.1.2 via a plugin) also have the call

Something like that could also be useful to automatically deploy repackaged EJB or
librairies. I'd like to have this feature too

how about posting a roadmap for JBOSS-IDE so we would know what to expect. it was a
great help when JBOSS 4 submitted a roadmap. it helped me make some decisions.

What would the timeframe be for a feature like this? Anyone having good advice on how

Indeed, Bea's Workshop is a cool visual tool. It definitly has it's weaknesses if you
don't want to do everything the visual way.
When looking to a WebApplication Framework I would recommend not using struts but
JavaServer Faces, which recently made it to 1.0 Final. Maybe the FacesConsole
Currently IMO the best J2EE IDE available is BEA's Weblogic Workshop (try 1-year free
dev license). If you are looking for new features this is a good place to start.
Probably the most desirable feature (ignoring the EAI functionality) that they have is
the graphical MVC-based web application
