This might seem a crazy idea, and sun will never aprove
it, but here goes. the JNDI lookup to the database is
only available during create, delete, update, methods, of
the entity bean. this causes poor performance to
continually lookup the JNDI datasource. what if we could
lookup the datasource during ejb activation, a one time
lookup.
