This seems to be a rmic bug. I tried it yesterday and found out that rmic
doesn't compile the classes if the classpath isn't identical to the output
directory when the -iiop flag is set. I upgraded the jsdk from:
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.0-C)
Java HotSpot(TM) Cl
I had the same problem with JDK 1.3. If you upgrade to the newest
release of 1.3.1 it goes away.
