Thanks Ellen. So would you advise not to use Database queries from within a
rule then? In this case the query would be against a list of prices (possibly
thousands). Is it better to read these in the Bean and pass the whole lot to
Drools?

I must have been using a very old version of the designer, there wasn't a JBoss
Seam option from the new file - other menu (honest!).
I've built and deployed beta2 from cvs HEAD and now I see the option of JBoss
Seam - New Pageflow Wizard
The wizard seems to work :)
Is there a reason why the
Failover kicks in when a server *dies*.
CTRL-C does not kill a server, it shuts it down cleanly - this won't cause
failover.
Kill it using kill, or using task manager in windows.

The EJB3 embedded container was in a Maven 2 repository, and the directory for
this repository had spaces in its name. I moved it to a directory with no
spaces and there is no more problem. It looks like a bug in the Jboss embedded
EJB3 container.

scoped manner.

Put the classes in the root of the archive NOT in WEB-INF/classes.

Hm, Notifier.copy now thinks the data is unsafe (it's not a MapCopy instance
anymore) so it makes a new copy. If I prevent that from happening, the
ConcurrentModificationException goes away.

I think what I would try to do is get the id of the taskInstance the user is
doing and directly have it in your method...
In all cases I think you need something more to find the right taskInstance.

I think found the part that makes the trouble, I have EJBs that depends on each
other. so in each of the EJB, I inject the other one
