What you need to do is to create another cache instance in your web app and put

Yes, they should be in replicated mode.

That looks like one ejb is being used as the persistence layer and one as the
session-bean layer.
Ours are both mixed in each EJB.

Hello,

During class compilation, it seems the javac targets are getting set to 1.4
and should be 1.5. I'll checkout the latest branch and look at why this could
be happening.

Can you give us a bit more specific example of your case? You mentioned you
have 2 ejb jars msp1_ejb.jar and msp2_ejb.jar which are trying to use a the
same persistence unit. If i understand your scenario right, you could have
something like this:
| msp.ear
| |
| |--- META-INF

OK, let's start with an annotation 101 :-) Annotations are only supported from
JDK 5 onwards, and the typical use is

Hi All,
I am very new to JBoss web services and am trying to create a sample web
service application using JBoss WS. Here is what i have done so far:
1) Created a POJO for the web service. Its source code is as follows:
package test.webservices;
|
| import javax.jws.WebMethod;
| import
There is no persistence jar as such. It's simply:
| msp.ear
| |
| |--- META-INF
| | |
| | |-- application.xml
| |
| |
| |--- msp1_ejb.jar
| |
| |--- msp2_ejb.jar
| |
|
And I need to know where to put the persistence.xml file and get msp2_ejb.jar
talking
Are your entities present in both the ejb jar files? Or are they in a single
ejb jar file (in which case, you can place the persistence.xml in the META-INF
folder of that ejb jar). And if you are having the entities spread across these
2 ejb jars, is there any specific reason for doing so?
There are entities in both jar files, but they are not replicated.
The reason to do so is to have a common EJB jar that contains commonly used
EJBs in different applications...
