I just now ran into this on 5.0.0.CR1. The missing config file is
META-INF/standard-jaxws-client-config.xml.
Which leads me to a question. In earlier versions of JBoss WS (such as those

How are you starting the app server? Are you trying to run it on os startup
using a script in /etc/init.d? Or are your running it manually from a terminal.
If you are running it manually from a terminal, at the terminal, enter this:
echo $JAVA_HOME
If you do this, you should see:
/usr/java/jdk

It is part of the processdefinition, so I'd guess it is set somewhere in the
process parser. Actual storage should be done by hibernate, but if there is no
config for it, I don't know (I'm no hibernate expert)

I did the following:
I disabling Authentication for JMX Invoker by commenting out the security
interceptor passthrough:
server/$CONFIG/deploy/jmx-invoker-service.xml
Located the mbean section with the class
org.jboss.jmx.connector.invoker.InvokerAdaptorService.
That should be fine - the ODBC JDBC driver is included with the JDK rt.jar
file. You'll need to post the error message along with the stack trace.

We use the bdbje (berkeley db, java ed.) cacheloader here which goes to disk as
files. It's not one file per cache entry though but rather a rolling set of
database files.
You have to be a bit careful about cleanup, but it might be something you can
try out.

One more thing: The attempted SLSB lookup that is failing is in the
@PostContruct method of the Seam class that is an @Startup class.
But, all indications are the SLSB it is trying to lookup is already loaded and

jrxml is a Jasper Reports definition file. It looks like he is trying to
deploy an application that includes reports (reports directory) from jasper
reports.
There is a free reporting tool called iReports that generates the jrxml files,
and includes the required jar files for utilizing Jasper

OK, seems switching to java 5 was the key, near as i can tell everything works
now.

What is a jrxml file? The error message is stating that there is no deployer
that knows how to deploy jrxml file.
What is the "reports" directory?

When I deployed my portlet in the jboss-portal-2.6.5.sp1. My portal uses
Richfaces, spring and ajsf-portlet-1.2.2 jar and other jars.
The deployment is successful but when I try to access the portlet using

For an HTML file, the best (and perhaps only) way to do this is to use the same
code that the cms portlet uses. You can find that source in the source distro
at core-cms/src/main/org/jboss/portal/core/cms/ui/CMSPortlet.java
