i have wrote a client side LoginModule which aquires a Kerberos Service Ticket
and than "send it" to JBoss. This works with the SecurtiyAssociationActions (i
have copied the class to the client...i know, its not very good...), the same

jboss install had been messed up. I think the problem was that I ran JBoss as
root at one point. To fix it I reinstalled JBoss and things work fine now.

with annotation @Passivate I think you make them additionally invoke. But look
out that this method maybe additional twice invoked by container so it should

Actually, I should provide some more information here. The example
*-persistence-service.xml files that come with JBoss Messaging and with JBossAS
5.0 all have "Clustered" set to "true" and contain clustering information. I
predict that if the *-persistence-service.xml files remain as they are,

it's simply a matter of classloading.
If you put files in the WEB-INF/lib dir they will be visible only to the web
application. Good if these lib are only needed by the webapp
On the other hand if you need the jar file for the WHOLE enterprise application
put it in the ear file.

As far as I know JBoss Developer studio has simply bundled all necessary
plugins, I have seen only a Beta release at a Red Hat course. It was quite good
for Seam integration.
Anyway for starting I'd suggest you to download a basic Eclipse version and
install just the JBoss IDE plugin, there are
