I haven't seen it loop like you are describing.
But I have seen it keep redeploying because files are still being deployed
because of something is causing a change in the files...got anything running
that might do/cause that ?

If there is an api (that is not just jmx) to introspect a live running instance
then that would make sense. But I haven't looked into if there is such API
besides JMX.

Going by the exception stacktrace it looks like you are packaging the log4j jar
file in your application. If yes, then remove it from your application package
and redeploy your application.

Correct me if i am wrong, but @Resource injection is for jdbc dataSource or env
resources or jms resources which are all jee container injected. Spring beans
are not jee artifacts & hence may not be injected by container

It all depends on your application, how many users your application has, and
how your users typically use the application. The best thing to do is monitor
the connection sizes and waiting queues and adjust accordingly.

Also, is there a stray log4j.jar file in your classpath? One way to find out is
add the '-verbose:class" JVM option - it outputs the location of the jar file
for each class loaded.

Zip files are ignored in the lib directory. If the zip file contains a jar
file, extract it into the lib directory. If not, try renaming classes12.zip to
classes.jar.

For two servers in Cluster when 2nd Server starts we get this exception.
We are using JAS 4.2.3 GA and JBM-1.4.0SP3. We dont know how to fix it.

I realised that I forgot to mention that in the scenario when both sender and
receiver programs are connecting to node1's JNDI and I then shut down the node,
then the sender program crashes with the exception

the first few lines in the log show that the folder name of JBoss Home is
JBoss-4.0 and the Started message shows its 5.0 CR2.

I try to port my application to AS5 and I resolved all deployment errors. But
