In Portal 2.6, I did not see support for forgotten usernames/passwords. Can
the user portlet be setup to support forgotten usernames and passwords? If it
is not supported in Portal 2.6, will this be supported in a future release?

With the DecorateContent set to true, the CMS Portlet window does render with
decorations.

This is the way I would like the CMS Portlet to render. Thanks Thomas.
However, I think it is a bug in Portal 2.6 if setting the rendering type in the
management portlet has no affect.

I added a CMS portlet as user admin with the content-type set to CMS. Most of
the time it sets the CMS Portlet content correctly but sometimes it does not.
I haven't spent any time trying to figure out why it sometimes won't set
properly.

In JBoss Portal 2.6, the default for the CMS portlet rendering seems to be

I would like to disable the dashboard with as few steps as possible. Ideally,
it would be an option that could be disabled by a portal admin user. The next
easiest thing I found to do is udpate the file
Congrats on getting the 2.4 version of the Portal out the door. I'm running a
fresh version of the 2.4 portal at SOAModeling.org. Thanks for doing the forum
updates as well, it will be nice when additional forum functionality is
released with the forum 1.0 version.

I would like the newtopic and reply options to be available for guests viewing
the forums. Where do I update the privileges for forum users so it will work
that way. For Nukes, this could be done through the web interface but I don't
see a web interface option for 2.4 Portal Forums.

The error occurs during deployment. I am using the default hypersonic

I want to use the Management Portlet to create several instances of the
CMSPortlet in different pages. I also want to be able to use the Management

I tried using the Management portlet to set the property indexpage for the

Does anyone know how to display a web page from another web site inside the
JBoss portal? I don't think this can be done without frames and I don't think
JBoss Portal is setup to work with frames.

That would be a nice way to manage portlet layouts via drag and drop. I'm sure
it would take quite a bit of time to reengineer the JBoss Portal to work that
way though.

To make it easier for people to download and test both the portal and the
forums, can someone provide a forums release with each portal 2.4 release.
