Ouch, I simply denied the fact I reconfigured the apache loadbalancer. I
moved the configuration to a virtual host and the application broke!!!
I really can't believe, but moving back to the original configuration without
virtual hosts let the application work in the cluster again. :-(
I'm sorry
Ok, as long I don't use virtual hosts all is working fine. As I already stated

reconfigure my app in near future. I thank you for your help in this matter.

Hi Prabhat,
this is a maven project. In the ulbak/ulbak directory is a master POM which
should call the others as well. This on produces a single ear-file which I
simply move to the farm-directory.
You also need a datasource, you'll find the persistence.xml in the

Think you're right, the XSD should be published.

Hello,
since JBossWS 3.0.2 a timestamp-verification tag is available. So I've deployed

Hi,
I just had a quick test (Java 6 (OpenJDK), JBoss 4.2.3, JBossWS Metro 3.0.2,

Hello,
is it possible to combine JBossPortal (regarding WSRP) with the JBossWS Metro
Stack?

I'm sorry,
the difference was only the admin had not the proper roles, so he couldn't see
the instances! But thats strange, too: if not the admin, who can?

using the JBoss classes instead of JAX-WS 2.1 from Netbeans resolved the

Hello,
I've just observed that Netbeans generated JAX-WS 2.1 compliant client classes.
In
the news paper sample it was JAX-WS 2.0. Is that a problem? The classes look
very similar to me.

Hello,
I've problems injecting a custom header in a clustered portal environment
(JBossPortal 2.6.5-SP1). I have the following jboss-portlet.xml (which works in
a non-clustered
installation without the distributed tags):
| ?xml version=1.0 encoding=UTF-8?

Look for a file named jboss-beans.xml in jbossws.sar/jbossws.beans/META-INF/
and edit the properties of the bean WSServerConfig. It's all documented in
that
file. jbossws.sar you'll find in the deploy directory of your server
configuration.
Good luck!

It's the first narrow, that takes places causing the exception, the lookup

You're right, it seems there is some bug in JBossAS 4.2.1. With 4.0.5 it's
working.
I just couldn't imagine. I've also deployed an EJB 2 application without JSF and
Portlet code, that works fine...

When I create a page (either by deploying a new portlet or by admin GUI) which
should
only be visible to certain roles, it's even shown to unauthenticated users
(with no portlet

So which class do I have to load in portlet.xml? I chose

No, there isn't. I'm using the jsf-portlet.jar which is delivered in

So that's my fault?
I will test that, when the server is back online.

Dear Thomas,
after some hours of frustration: I'm back with my portlets where I started,

Hi Chris,
the line above the message makes me think that. After some thinking, I must
add I'm not using port 8080 but port 80 by using Apache 2.2 as reverse proxy.
But is that an explanation for the different behaviour with and without the
firewall?! Localhost is allowed all!

Hello,
in JBossPortal 2.4 the CatalogPortlet shows all pages which are installed

Is this configurable?
