You should not even see hibernate console configuration in the Run section!
Which version is this ? You are better of reporting this in jira with enough
details so we can fix if it is in some latest release.

micuentadecasa,
Just talked with Pete M. (seam) about this and it turns out that seam-gen have
not been updated to generate fully working JBoss 5. Gone unnoticed to me since
noone reported it against tooling.
There is an issue in Seam that i just found which ill pick up and see what we
can do
Pete tells me that up to Seam 2.1 they target JBoss 4.x, from Seam 2.2 and
onwards it will be JBoss 5.
So this is fixed in Seam 2.2 trunk.
The tooling uses the templates Seam provides so I would really not like to do
additonal logic for something that the Seam team won't even target/support.
Note: we will add a warning if you do the combinations that might cause
handedits or not be truly supported.

Ok, so you found a bug in jira when you don't put in any username or password ;)
May I suggest you put in your username and password when you try and login ?
Here is my screencast showing it works:

Where are you getting this error ?
It's obvious that within java you can't do this so you will have to not rely on
such features for your gigantic table.
