We did some last minute adjustments to try and be compatible with latest stable
Dali 2.1.1. We had to add some reflection hacks to make it work on both 2.1.1
and the actual version in WTP.

Right click server > Open launch configuration
Double click server > the editor that shows up has link to the launch config.
And no there is no lucene index here - just that we use whatever is configured
in the server object to do the launch config.

If you just did this today from the dev update site then that is caused by us
having a build failure that nuked the site.
We are in the process of bringing it back to a working form and that should be
ready in 20 minutes.

stable updates only have JBoss Tools 2 so use Eclipse 3.3 with that.
Eclipse 3.4 requires JBoss Tools 3 which is from the dev updatesite - which at

Great to hear you did your xforms editor - got any screenshots ? :)
The features of openon, validation and completion is done by completely
different parts of Eclipse/JBoss Tools than the visual editor but they are at
least pretty easy to get into.
Ctrl-click or F3 or OpenOn as we tend to call
Just like any other deployable project.

It's a tricky question ;)
The deployed files are not actually "derived" files, it could be you deployed
to something you really wanted to stay deployed no matter if the file or
project is deleted from your workspace (actually deleted project by default
just mean you remove it from the workspace

*restart* eclipse - does that make a difference for you ?

We can't start and stop a remote server - hence we got the deploy only server.
Going forward I want these to server types to be merged.
With respect to the paths how do you want us to deploy if not by copying the
files ?

The facet should help you update those jars.
snjeza/akazakov - now that we have more than 2 versions of Seam and especially
2.0 and 2.1 being so close it might make sense to show all runtimes in our seam
combo and simply error if the versions doesn't match ? Or even better show a

I have a hard time following why you are doing server side ejb's but was
running the code as a client ?
If you want a client app you should do it as a jar and not make it dependent on
the server runtime jar (i.e. simply remove the jboss runtime)

not trivial - but for windows Alt+Shift+D, R is the shortcut for "Debug on
