I am trying to get the HttpServletRequest from a RenderRequest
(javax.portlet.RenderRequest). This is some existing code (running on Websphere
Portal 5.1) that orginally was doing this:

I currently have a VMware image running OpenSuse 10.3. The Linux OS runs fine
and I have installed 3 different App Servers on this VM(machine): 1) JBoss AS
4.2.2 2) Sun Glassfish v2 and 3) Apache Geronimo 2.2. The VM is up and
