Same environment (JBoss AS 5.1.0.GA, Seam 2.1.2). If I deploy an exploded EAR,
this problem occurs. Unexploded ear works just fine.

Hello,
Yes it was the newline handling. A tag has to be contained on a single line or
else this problem comes up.

Hello, I have an existing Seam 2.1.2.CR2 application with a MySql XA datasource
using the 5.1.7 MySql connector that works fine under JBoss 4.2.3.GA. When I
deploy under 5.1.GA, it complains with the below exception. I didn't notice an
XA example in the 5.1.GA distribution...is it supported?
Hello,
I have installed JBoss Portal 2.6.5 under Linux 5, and connected to Apache
HTTPD server. With the standard install, I turned on e-mail verification for
the registration process, and it seemed to be working fine. For this
discussion, let's assume I have the portal associated with this

There's another thread discussing this, but there hasn't been any activity on
it. It looks like using s:fileUpload and Trinidad isn't possible at this
time. Is this correct? Are there any work arounds? I'd prefer not to
remove Trinidad from my project. Thanks.

Has anything happened with this? Appears to be an issue in 2.0.GA as well.

Hello Norman,
Yeah, I know about p:pageNumber, but I was trying to get at the entire document
length as well. The iText book gives a couple of examples of doing this is
iText directly. I wasn't sure if there was a Seam tag for supporting this.
Thanks for your reply.

Hello,
Using Seam (2.0.GA), is there a way of creating:
Page X of Y
such as Page 23 of 42?
I didn't see anything in the docs.
Thanks.

This does not seem to work (it prints the table as a header):

Hello,
I'm creating a rather involved form using iText and Seam (2.0.GA), which
includes several checkboxes. Does anyone have any examples of rendering a
checked or unchecked box using iText/SEAM based on the value of the underlying
bean? I'm assuming there are two approaches: using a
Hello, I was wondering if someone has SEAM iText examples other than the ones
in examples/itext. I have to produce an order form that has a fair amount of
stylistic formatting, multiple fonts, etc. I was hopeful there might be some
examples I could look at before taking a trial and error
This is very strange. I re-downloaded AS 4.2.1.GA as well as the Seam 2.0
Beta. Ran ant in the examples/itext directory and everything compiled and
deployed correctly. Same issue as above. No exceptions, no errors, it only
displays the pdfMissing.xhtml page. I'm not modifying anything
The problem was with the Safari browser. I downloaded Firefox, and it works
perfectly. Not sure what's going on with Safari though.

Hello,
I have Seam 2.0.0.BETA1 and AS 4.2.0GA. I've gone through most of the Seam
examples without any issues, but the itext example seems to have a problem. It
deploys properly, and pointing to: http://localhost:8080/seam-itext/index.seam
brings up the Sample Documents page correctly.
Are there any available web-based graphic process designers that can be used
insted of the Eclipse plug-in?
Thanks!
