I also figured out some missing elements in jpdl-4.0.xsd included in CR package
(jbpm-4.0.CR, 5th June 09).
It is possible to add activities to a process definition usign the eclipse
plugin, but the "custom" element is not contained in the schema at all.

I just found that JBPM 4.0 implements a JobExecutorThreadPool, instantiating 3
executor threads by default.
