When will JBoss Tools be updated using the latest Seam version? It looks like
it is only using v1.2
Also, if a project is created using the seam-gen (outside Eclipse), is there a
way to let JBoss-Tools know this, in order to use the Seam tools inside
Eclipse?
I am assuming that the project ->

I am trying to upgrade my JBoss from version 4.0.5.GA to 4.2.2.GA and I am
running into a problem. I am using ICEFaces and SEAM. I know in version
4.0.5.GA I had to make some additional changes in order to make the AS to work.
In version 4.2.2.GA what are the changes I need to make? I have not b
I was able to replace the files described along with ejb3-persistence.jar in
place of hibernate-all.jar and so far it seems to be working fine.

I have looked on the Hibernate website as-well-as the JBoss website to see if
there is a more current hibernate-all.jar. If there isn't, would someone please
either link/direct me to a web page or describe the files necessary for
replacing this library?

I am using NetBeans v5.5 and installed JBoss-4.0.5.GA using Jems installer.
I've gone through some of the seam examples without any problem. I've also,
recreated the booking example within NetBeans. However, when I try recreating

exception being thrown. I've been looking at the seam examples and playing
around with the code for a couple of weeks.

I am attempting to implement the seam security into a new project I created. I
am using JBoss 4.0.5.GA and the Seam 1.2.0.PATCH. When I start JBoss,
everything seems fine. However, when I try to access my home page, I receive
the following error:

Yesterday I downloaded the seam-1.2.0.PATCH1. I then ran the seam setup to
define my information, then ran the seam new-project. JBoss is defined to use
MySQL.
The first problem I noticed is that Seam setup did not modify the
jboss-beans.xml file. It was still defined to use hsqldb, not MySQL
Ok, I found this bit of information on JBoss, which I will provide the link
below. According to the information, Java EE 5 will be fully implemented in
JBoss Application Server 5.

I too would like the Web Application to allow Java EE 5. I want to create a web
application using jboss. Last night I searched to see if there was a solution,
but could not find one. Trying to find an issue in the NetBeans website is
cumbersome to say the least.
However, one of the tutorials I
