Hi all,
I would like to port my Seam application which was coded using Seam 2.0 as a
portlet to the Jboss Portal 2.6.
I have read some articles but they were all done with older versions of either
seam or portal.
Any idea or advise ?
Cheers

Thanks for replying. Yes, I am using an action component already. Annotations
are really easy to use and maintain. That was the reason I would like to put
them in.
Anyway, I will make validation manually for data.

Hi,
I am trying to make sure that user specified a file to upload. @NotNull did not
worked. I have then read something on SeamProblemsFAQ
(http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=SeamProblemsFAQ) about a @NotNull
issue.
I am now using required attribute for s:fileupload . But it did not work
thanks for the reply. Do you have any example usage of ice:fileupload component
with seam?
cheers

Hi,
I am trying to make a fileupload page. Without icefaces, s:fileupload works
fine. I also checked the seamspaces sample files.
I always get null value for uploaded InputStream.
How can I make it possible to use s:fileupload for this case?
Thank you

probably you're right! thanks.
I now don't use @In annotation and it works. I am new to seam and trying to
realize when to use @In and @Out ? Since I am not a pragmatic programmer yet, I
sometimes program blindly. Could you please tell me the idea of @In and @Out
in brief? (if you have enou
Thanks anyway. Although I tried @In(create=true), it did not work for me..
So, I think that this should be a very trivial thing for framework to work with
primitive data types.
What should I try next do you think?

Hmm... There are also more stack trace lines. Do they make any sense?

Hi,
I was using ant v1.6. I have downloaded a new version of ant which is now 1.7
and it worked! (although it threw warning messages on checksums, while
retrieving some dependency files.., i wish it is not a serious problem)
thank you swd847

I watched a presentation from videos section about JBoss Portal yesterday.
There was a roadmap there saying that JBoss Portal 3 was planned to be released
in 2007.
Anybody knows when v3 will be released?
thanks

I used to have almost the same problem.
I am 100% sure that I did not change the configuration file jboss-service.xml.
I only followed the instructions given on page
http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=UsingAnLDAPSourceForPortalAuthentication
. And it worked! You should exactly notice tha
