Both

and
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/EJBTHREE-786
have been resolved.
http://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBSEAM-474
was moved to 2.0.x
How does this affect the scheduling of JBSEAM-474?

I have been watching these issues, and the last comment implies
String remove()
is a spec violation for both local and remove ejb3 interfaces.
If this is true what is the probability that the Seam Framework could be
refactored to have a different name for this method?

You might as well migrate to 2.0 which will be out very soon for the following
reasons:
1. Many improvements and bug fixes
2. Better support unless you are a support customer because this is where the
developers are focusing their efforts

Looks like EJB3 team finally took notice of these and plans on getting them
into the 4.2.2 release.
Thanks for the help motivating them Pete.

That check uncovered numerous erroneous duplicates of Factories in my

That problem appears to be fix the problem, but I have duplicate factory method

However, this is new code that I have not tested fully. I am going to

I didn't clean up the code much, but I will explain. If you need me to clean

I am not using EJBs remotely or using clustering.
What changes will I need to make other than removing @Stateless and @Stateful
from my beans?
Please advise me on what side effects might occur or functionality I might be
taking for granted with SFSB or SLSB vs Seam POJOs.

Thanks Pete. I am now watching these issues.
I urge everyone on the Seam list to vote for these fixes.

At that time the message was SFSB are great and lightweight.
Now I have 100s of them in my application.
I cannot hot deploy them or extend the Seam framework with EBJ3 components.
This is starting to bother me as I could do so with POJO Seam com
See
http://docs.jboss.org/seam/1.2.1.GA/reference/en/html/gettingstarted.html#d0e2438
This states that you can only hot deploy JavaBean and not EJB3 components. It
also states that the Seam is working to fix this.
I am inquiring about the status of this fix.

Is it possible yet to hot deploy SFSB and SLSB with Seam 2.0? If not will this
