We found out, that the "Service Temporarily Unavailable" Error is a Problem
with the Apache load balancer and not with the jboss server.
But we still have the performance problem with the jboss on aix.

We're running an jboss 4.2.2.GA on an AIX 5.3 machine.
Our webservice also runs but the performence is about 3 times worse than on a
windows xp machine.
