Cool. I'll give that forum a shot as well. Actually, to ensure that I don't clutter the board with my opening couple of posts, I'd ask that a friendly moderator/admin move it over there. I don't see an option for me to edit/delete this thread. Nor do I see a way to report my thread. Well,

thanks for the info.. actually. I don't have ANY applications, and since i'm not a programmer, I'm just looking for a nice simple demo app to install with instructions View the original post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bbop=viewtopicp=4159260#4159260 Reply to the post :

Unfortunately, all of the simple apps I know of come only as source code which you have to build and then deploy. The only app I can think of that is ready to deploy is JBoss Portal, but it is not simple. View the original post :

Hopefully your application is packaged as one of the standard Java EE archives (for example, WAR, EAR, SAR). Copy the file to the jboss_home/server/xxx/deploy directory, where 'xxx' is the configuration you are running (usually 'default'). You can find more information in the free chapter 1

Hi, Sounds like it is a JBoss 4.0.4/4.0.5 issue since I have had no problem when using SJASA PE 9.0 with the same Netbeans on the same JDK 6.0. Anyway, I will try it with JDK 1.5 to see whether it makes any difference. Cheers, Henry View the original post :

Hi cwulf, Your recommendation was correct. By running only the Client program (EJB3ex512) using SDK 1.5 solved this issue. All session beans and other clients are still using SDK 1.6 without a problem. Thanks again, Henry View the original post :

Hi Gabriel, may be that I misunderstand you, but you seem to mix MBean with Message Driven Bean. An MBean is a Managed Bean in the jmx server. The Message Driven Bean is an EJB used for message based communication. You should lookup your MBean with something like this:

Thanks Peter. Re-reading what I said I agree that my explanation was confusing. Ive managed to sort it out though so if this thread can be locked/deleted by admin maybe? no real point to it any more. View the original post :
