Could you please try to use a profiler to see where the time is spent while
deploying your application?

Any new information regarding this issue? We are experiencing exactly the same
problem: for ~70 EJB3 entity beans and ~200 session beans deployment time went
from ~40 sec to 3-4 minutes.

Might also be a good idea to do some profiling to determine some of the major
bottlenecks first. If you have the means, JProfiler[1] is a great commercial
product.

I put the server log to this place: http://m61s24.vlinux.de/server.log.zip
As you can see, the deployment took 25 minutes. If you need additional
information, just give me a note.

Initially, i would be interested in the logs generated by default (without any
changes to jboss-log4j.xml). If those are not sufficient, then we can look for
something more specific.

I can send you the server.log. If you tell me which log4j-namespaces you're
interested in, I can enable them.

That's way too much.
Do you have any logs which show what activity is taking too long? Or which
activity is being repeated which contributes to this timing?
