The stack trace you posted doesn't match the version of JGroups (2.6.2) shipped
with JBossCache 2.2.0.GA. Did you upgrade JGroups ?

Right, that could be it. We're using JBC together with gridgain. Both use
JGroups as the underlying communication platform. However, JBC uses JGroups
2.6.2 while gridgain uses JGroups 2.6, so maven finally uses 2.6
I'll adapt the dependencies to use 2.6.2 instead.
