I checked whether the external db port is listening and that it works fine.
Then i have one major doubt. They have given the Instance name as MSSQLSERVER.
So do i need to change my ds name in the portal-mssql-ds.xml from PortalDS to
MSSQLSERVER.
Then i have configured the standardjaws.xml
The short answer is yes. The long answer is the Reference Guide contains steps
on installing the Portal with a database. I don't know if the bundle contains
all the files, though. If it doesn't you will want to also download the binary,
read the Reference Guide, and use the database-related fil
If i got to go for a bundled download of jboss 2.4 + AS, is it possible for me
to configure the data base to my sql server 2000 db, if so could you let me
know the steps.
