portal-wsrp.sar contains our implementation of the WSRP standard. If you don't
know what that is, you don't need it. :)
As mentioned in my previous post, you can safely remove it from

I have downloaded JBOSS 4.0.4 GA and JBOSS Portal 2.4
1) i have extracted the jboss-portal.sar
2) in that folder there is a portal-wsrp.sar.
if i remove that portal-wsrp.sar folder during the server start up its not
showing any error
if i dont remove that file its showing this below
You start JBoss Portal without being connected to Internet ?

Additionally, if you don't intend to use WSRP, you can remove portal-wsrp.sar
from jboss-portal.sar without impacting the rest of Portal.

My JBoss Apps Server version is 4.0.1 Sp1
My Jboss Portal Version is 2.2.1 Sp1 .
I think version conflict.
the thing wat i did is
1)i download the JBOSS Portal server 2.2.1 (BINARY) copied the
jboss-portal.sar folder to my Jboss Apps Server
Jboss_install_dir/server/default/deploy/
2)next i
Please use any JBoss AS 4.0.3.SP1, 4.0.4 or 4.0.5

will let u know after migrating from Jboss 4.0.1 sp1 to higher.
so there is no way that i cant also configure using Jboss AS 4.0.1 with Jboss
Portal 2.0 atleast

You should migrate to 4.0.5 or 4.2.0 and then you can use JBoss Portal 2.6 that
has a *lot* of new features compare to 2.2 (even to 2.4).
