Which blog portlet you are talking about? The one Julien mentioned is not a
portlet but blog address where we blog about JBoss Portal.

is blog portlet compatable with 4.2.x + Portal 2.6.4? I tried deploying the
.sar and it throws myfaces exception? do i need to copy myfaces-impl for the
blog to work? i tried that too, it gave other exceptions.
Could you tell me if it is compatible with only 4.0.5 + portal 2.6 ?

If it is just an HTML page, you can use the CMS editor to write it or upload an
existing document.
Then refer to the documentation for the version of JBoss Portal you are using
to see how to include it in a window

i am creating new portlet window in a new portal page , but i am not able to
include contents of that portal window as a .html page. could anybody plz help
