Here are the steps:
1. Config JBoss Portal + LDAP;
2. Config CAS + LDAP;
3. Config JBoss Portal + CAS by valve.
Here is an example of JBoss Portal 2.7.2 + CAS 3.3.1 + OpenLDAP:

thanks a lot for the reply but can u plz give detailed steps of inegrating
openldap with CAS & openldap with jboss portal
I have integrated CAS with jboss portal by fllowing the instructions given in
the refrence guide
as I mentioned earlier i am using jbossportal 2.7.0
