Also, if you don't need WSRP for your use case, you can safely remove it by
deleting the directory server/default/deploy/jboss-portal.sar/portal-wsrp.sar

Hmm looks like run.bat does not read run.conf but run.sh does. I am glad it's

My machine is connected to internet, though its going through Firewall.
I tried with the following entry for proxy setting in run.conf:
set JAVA_OPTS=%JAVA_OPTS% -Dhttp.proxyHost=-Dhttp.proxyPort= -DproxySet=true
But didn't worked.
Finally, I tried with the same entry in run.bat and its working f
