The unified classloader has nothing to do with UseJBossWebLoader. Use RichFaces
3.1.x - this allows the use of RichFaces components in your action beans. Place
the richfaces-api.jar into your ear/lib directory.

It might have to do with the UseJBossWebLoader setting in
jboss-web.deployer/META-INF/jboss-service.xml
Once this is set to true, pietemartin's error appears.
Once this is set to false, asynchronous mails can be sent just fine. Setting
this to false, however, breaks much of the RichFaces

Hi,
I have looked at that post, it is how I did it in my own application. I get the
same exception then as when I try to an asynchronous mail using the example app.

The example works correctly for me. Try with a clean download of Seam and JBoss
AS.
