I didnt need to add EntityConverter in components.xml, just updating the
namespace to persistence:managed-persistence-context solved the problem. This
XML entity is defined in persistence XSD now.
However I still have other unresolved issues with the migration to seam 2.0 as
mentioned in my oth
Make sure you have the following in components.xml
| #{entityManager}
|
Incidentally, I think this component should have a lowerCamelCase name
("entityConverter" rather than "EntityConverter") as this would be more
consistent with other seam component names.

Yes, you need to update your namespaces - take a look at the seam2migration
guide.
I've also made Seam give a nicer exception there :)
