and in those you can do (almost ) everything you can do from normal java so
this includes calling databases via jdbc with prepared statements stored
procedures or whatever.

First, I wonder if you really mean a Task?
Is the primary work assigned to a person or other external agent?
If not, you probably just want a Node.
