Okay, I solved my problem. Sort of. Basically, it was an annotation thing.
We're trying to use the same package to evaluate SOAP and REST alternatives for
a service layer, and some of the REST stuff was screwing up our namespaces. So
now I have that problem to deal with, but that's beyond
I am seeing similar issues using the same JBossWS, app server and JDK. I
played around with the SOAP annotation elements and got lots of different
results. That was when I went home for the weekend. ;-) I will bang on it
some more but am also a bit baffled.
