Maybe the message cache is still using a file persistence manager for temporary messages storage. Have a look into the your tmp directory. Is there something like a jbossmq subdirectory ? Check your deploy/jbossmq-service.xml and make sure that the message cache also uses the jdbc persistence mana

Do something like (paths might be slightly off):
Copy $ORA_HOME/libs/jdbc/classes12.jar to $JBOSS_HOME/server/default/lib/
Copy $JBOSS_HOME/docs/examples/jca/oracle-service.xml (for 3.0)
or oracle-ds.xml (3.2) to
$JBOSS_HOME/server
Hi Marco,
The server.xml file in the jboss../tomcat../confdirectory has the
option to change it to a different port.

when, however, i downloaded the same version of jboss on my desktop machine

In 3.2 (and presumably 3.0.x) for a call between jboss instances you need
to make sure there is no current transaction context. You can do this by

We need to use durable suscriptions. Our clients are authenticated against a
database. But the question is, if i delete the tables used to store
messages, why and where is jboss finding the messages?

Hi,
we have two JBoss 3.0.5 instances running on different machines. From

The AOP logging example on the JBoss site looked like a perfect
way to add logging if you wanted to debug call traces.
Has anyone tried benchmarking AOP vs. J2EE (
