Has any one ever done this?
Is there any (fast and dirty) way of getting jboss 3.0.3 to run with the
new java 1.5.0?
I am running diablo 1.5.0 on a fresh FreeBSD 6.1-stable.
(But i doubt that the issue is jvm or OS related)
I am getting
ERROR [Server] start failed
(false).
Thats why you see these idle in transaction ps output.
Its fixed in 7.3.2.

The same jboss startup time phaenomenon and jsp compilation
(long) times applies also to the jboss3.0.0 with jetty.
But i noticed a tremendous performance improvement with jetty
engine (about 80%-100%) faster than tomcat 4.0.3.

Yes David, as soon as possible i will try the CVS version,
but currently we are in trouble with our new big box that is about to run
Jboss on it, so it may take 1-2 weeks or so.
Thanx for your reply.

however i hope the above will be helpful.

Read ch. 3 of the free docs.
I found out already, postgresql accepts the connections ok,
however the rest of the situation (problems) prevents from testing the
application on jboss 3.0.
Thanx anyway.

Hi ,
i have made my own taglib in order to facilitate page layout with templates.
I every page i have

My taglib code that does the actual insertion has as follows:

I access beans, which access EJBs, from the
Well carlos,
since i assume you are in the same situation as me (ldap newbie),
i would suggest:
1) in everything you do (either from jboss SecurityManager or from ldapsearch)
watch the log of your ldap server CAREFULLY

2) Build your own LdapLogin module put it in a package,

I am using

I have tried with every commit options (A,B,C,D) in

I read somewhere in the docs that win 2000 may outperform linux kernel 2.2
even by 2 times when not using apache/jetty for thread mngmnt, because
of the lack of "real" linux threads.
As far as i know this is not the case in kernel 2.4 which supports
kernel-space threads.
Any experience / thoughts
