I declare
that my own exception will be thrown? If I don't declare it as being
thrown, I get a compile time error.
Thanks for any clarity on this issue,

Go to this link:
http://jakarta.apache.org/turbine/howto/jboss-howto.html
Ignore the fact that the howto has to do with
turbine. The page basically discusses setting up Tomcat 4 with
JBoss. This resolved (for me) the problem you describe.

interact with ours one day. However, this doesn't mean I open up all our
EJB's for use with SOAP. There are plenty of overhead and security concerns
and in the end 95% of our EJB stuff just does not need to be exposed in that
way.

This probably isn't much help, but just to let you know that I am running
fine with Jboss 2.2.1 and Tomcat 3.2.1 and the tomcat-test ear.

I have it working now on JBoss 2.2.1 + Tomcat 3.2.1. My problem was never
having the right server configuration settings and WAR setup correct at the
same time. I resolved this and all is working well.
Thanks,

oesn't matter, I've
tried it).
Any last words of advice before I give up? I'd love to hear from someone
who has this working and see the configuration.
Thanks,

Note that this was my first attempt to run this stuff integrated (actually
it is my second, I failed at it quite some time ago also). Point is, I
haven't seen it work yet. But I'll keep pluggin'.

t the preconfigured
JBoss Tomcat, but since I posted my message, I found that I get the error in my
old configuration also, so the integration may not be the cause of my problem
anyway.
Thanks for the reply,

ar to the ear file (and manifest). I've tried every thinkable
permutation of this. Nothing seems to work.
Any ideas? I'm fresh out. Thanks in
advance and my entire stack trace for the error follows,
