Easy, Friday afternoon, non-politically motivated post.
I am setting up multiple JBoss environments on a single machine (Solaris 8)
for testing. I would like to use a jboss.pid file in the respective
server//log directories to allow definitive checking of whether a
particular instance is up (

Is it possible to use Unix sockets to
communicate to JBoss/Jetty as can be done with JBoss/Tomcat.
e.g.: from workers2.properties
...
[channel.un:/opt/wherever/jk2.
